I think that congress pays not one red dime for any of their health costs at present. To make them pay now would definitely be a long step downward and worse would open up the information on a hundred more of their, ahem, small, should we say? benefits.
Strange employer-employee goings on.
Government administration people commit infractions and instead of being tried and jailed they are suspended from their jobs at full pay. When the news howl dies down, these people reappear in their old jobs as if nothing happened or they resurface in new jobs at a higher pay grade. What the hell is that!
