A key objective of ACLU recommended HB 3194 is to hold Oregon’s future prison population to current levels of incarceration and to return some of the cost savings back to the counties to provide services for victims of crime, more treatment options and community justice alternatives to incarceration.

Normally I’m thrilled when the ACLU gets vocal about overreaching government. This one however is too unspecific. And she says that we should pass the bill with no amendments. Hmm
