What We the Middle Class Got For Doubling our Work Output Over the last 25 years

GDP is the value of all goods and services produced by all sectors of the economy. During the last 25 years we have doubled our GDP here in the U.S

“The real median wage in the United States has been stagnant for twenty-five years, despite an almost doubling of GDP per capita.”–THE HAVES AND THE HAVE-NOTS, ( p.194 ) Branko Milanovic lead economist, World Bank’s research division in Washington D.C.

And so to answer our original question; what we got for doubling our work output was nothing; while the filthy rich raked all the profit in. And they didn’t even use a gun!

take care : )
