Dietetics — by Sir John Harington

Be wise in the selection of food
Choose peas and nuts and rue
But chief neglect not garlic
That oft has proved to save from death
Bear with the unsavory breath that follows
And do not scorn it though some think
It makes men more to drink
And makes their breath to stink
